{"id":68,"date":"2010-02-25T21:30:45","date_gmt":"2010-02-26T03:30:45","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/thewilhelmscook.com\/?p=68"},"modified":"2011-09-18T19:32:43","modified_gmt":"2011-09-19T00:32:43","slug":"thai-chicken","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/thewilhelmscook.tempotech.net\/?p=68","title":{"rendered":"Thai Chicken"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Thai Chicken from the Slow Cooking Cookbook<\/p>\n<p>8 chicken thighs (about 2 lbs. skinned)<\/p>\n<p>3\/4 C. hot salsa<\/p>\n<p>1\/4 C. peanut butter<\/p>\n<p>2 T. lime juice<\/p>\n<p>1 T. soy sauce<\/p>\n<p>1 t. grated fresh gingerroot<\/p>\n<p>1\/4 C. chopped peanuts<\/p>\n<p>2 T. chopped fresh cilantro<\/p>\n<p>Place chicken in slow cooker. Mix remaining ingredients except peanuts and cilantro; pour over chicken.<\/p>\n<p>Cover and cook on low heat setting 8-9 hours or until juice of chicken is no longer pink. Remove chicken from\u00a0 cooker, using slotted spoon; place pieces on serving platter.<\/p>\n<p>Remove fat from sauce. Pour sauce over chicken. Sprinkle with peanuts and cilantro.<\/p>\n<p>(I used 1\/2 C. chili sauce, some onions, green peppers and 1 T. Asian chili sauce for the salsa.
